We can use it to save more dogs and educate more pet owners about the dangers of feeding poor quality food.

PS. Re the WAGGIN TRAIN/OTHER BRANDS JERKY TREAT POISONING!! 

We have very similar issues with BENEFUL right now. I believe it is the oils/humectants that are preservatives used to make these treats sweet and chewy, and enables the company to add 18% water to the end product. I am talking about Propylene Glycol, Glycerin and Sorbitol. Jerky treats can be 18% of these chemicals be weight. BENEFUL is 1% by weight.. BUT.. a dog typically eats WAY more BENEFUL than a jerky treat so the end result can be the same.. 

The FDA have recorded at least 600 deaths from dogs.. and a few cats.. that ate these treats from 2007-2013 when a voluntary withdrawal was instigated. THOUSANDS have been sickened and many are left with long-term health issues. Now Nestle's PURINA is bringing them in again. They say these are "REAL" Chinese Chicken, REAL Chinese-manufactured Glycerin, and REAL "Natural Flavour", whatever that really is.. of course "NATURAL" could mean rendered or hydrolysed chicken poop and beaks at the end of the day!  

No-one is there from the company to watch what goes on at the Chinese plant. They are relying on Chinese inspectors.. do YOU trust PURINA?

The previous incarnation used Propylene Glycol rather than Glycerin. The FDA suspected that batches of industrial grade Propylene Glycol from Jatropha biofuel production had been used. No coincidence that drums of industrial grade WERE found at one of the three factories that produced this product when the FDA paid a visit. 

Remember that Jatropha contains lethal RICIN and CURCIN. A few milligrams can kill. The classic symptoms with hemorrhage and organ failure are typical of Jatropha poisoning. There is no test for Jatropha and no test for CURCIN. There IS a test for RICIN but it is hideously expensive which is why it is reserved for suspected terror cases... remember the Russian umbrella "dart" poisoning? 

The FDA is still desperately trying to get Big Pharma to develop tests for Jatropha. And NOT because of dead dogs. I believe that the FDA's biggest concern is with Chinese manufactured pharmaceutical grade PG and Glycerin used in injections or vaccinations. Can you imagine the impact of undetectable Jatropha contamination on the US's 134 million annual flu shots alone if a few dozen drums of industrial grade product were slipped in with the pharmaceutical grade to save money, but the product was incorrectly labelled as pharmaceutical grade? 

They are now using Glycerin in these jerky treats. Likewise, that would be all very well and good if it weren't for the fact that industrial grade Glycerin, as cheap as it is, could most likely be substituted for food grade Glycerin in some batches and of course, this is also is produced mainly from the Jatropha substrate. Voila.. the same problems start over... and it looks as though reports of toxicity are already coming in.
